Coutinho Set For Six Weeks On The Sidelines With Ankle Injury

Liverpool will have to endure their busy Christmas schedule without Philippe Coutinho, who will be out for six weeks with ankle ligament damage.
The Brazilian was replaced in the first half of the 2-0 win over Sun
derland on Saturday and underwent a scan on Monday.
The Reds are hoping their star playmaker will return to action soon enough and won’t need the full six weeks required for this type of injury.
However, it is certain he will not be available for the Merseyside derby against Everton, with the December 31st clash against Manchester City a target for his early return.
Liverpool will end November with a League Cup clash against Leeds United and will play six matches before the new year.
Coutinho has played a pivotal role for Liverpool, scoring five goals and assisting five more in 13 EPL appearances.
Liverpool have scored 32 goals so far this season, the highest tally in the league, with Klopp’s men sitting second on the log on level points with City and a point behind Chelsea.
