Manchester United Ready To Make Move For Kasper Schmeichel

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is eyeingLeicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according toDon Balon.

With Real Madrid assessing their goalkeeping options – which could have implications for David de Gea’s future at Old Trafford – the Foxes stopper is reportedly on United’s radar.
The 30-year-old starred in Leicester’s title-winning campaign last term and was crucial to the club’s unprecedented progression into the Champions League quarter-finals, saving a penalty in each leg against Sevilla.
A move would see Kasper Schmeichel follow in his father Peter’s footsteps, who enjoyed nine trophy-laden years at United until 1999.
It’s claimed Real’s top target is still David de Gea – and Bernabeu bigwigs are ready to be tactical about landing the Spaniard.
If Mourinho secured Schmeichel’s services, the club might be tempted to let De Gea return to Madrid.
Schmeichel has played 212 games for Leicester since joining the club from Leeds in 2011.
